UNIVERSITY, Department of Theology invites applications for a tenure-track
position beginning Fall 2008 in Old Testament / Hebrew Bible at the rank
of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to a candidate with some
expertise in the history of biblical interpretation. Teaching
responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Old Testament / Hebrew Bible
and graduate courses and mentoring of doctoral students. A complete
application consisting of a personal letter of application, resume, transcripts,
three letters of reference, and a representative example of scholarly work
(e.g., unpublished research paper, published article) must be received in our
department by mail (no faxes or e-mail attachments, please) by October 26, 2007.
