IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, Religious Studies Program. Endowed Chair in Catholic Studies.  Tenured position at a senior level of Associate or Full Professor. Extensive teaching experience and Ph.D. in Religious Studies or related field required. Appointment, August 16, 2008. 

 

Teaching load is four undergraduate courses per year. Appointee will be expected to teach Introduction to Christianity, and introductory and upper level courses in Catholic History and Thought. Area of specialization is open, but appointee must be able to teach a course on contemporary issues in Catholicism.  Appointee will be expected to carry on an active research and publication program. Salary and benefits are competitive.
