Maida Chair in Sacred Scripture
Sacred Heart Major Seminary is searching for a senior scholar to fill the Adam Cardinal Maida Chair in Sacred Scripture. The chair has been established to train priests, deacons and lay ecclesial ministers in the historical and theological significance of Sacred Scripture and to pass on that knowledge in pastoral settings. The candidate must have an ecclesiastical doctorate (STD) or at least a licentiate in sacred theology (STL) with a PhD from a Catholic university. The candidate must have excellent teaching skills and a significant publishing record that demonstrates a high level of competence in Sacred Scripture. The deadline for application is March 15, 2008.
